Board of Ethics and Registration for Indian System of Medicine is an Autonomous Board Constituted by the provisions of section 18 of the NCISM Act 2020.

The Board shall consist of a President and 8 Members out of which six members shall be chosen from the Ayurveda, Siddha, Sowa-Rigpa and Unani disciplines in such manner that at least one member represents each such discipline separately.

Remaining 2 members shall be chosen from any of the disciplines of quality assurance, public health, law or patient advocacy.

Board of Ethics and Registration has conducted various seminars, awareness programs, online conferences regarding various prestigious initiatives/Schemes of Ministry of Ayush, Govt. of India to sensitise the practitioners of ISM.

Board of Ethics and Registration is maintaining a National Register for Practitioners of Indian System of Medicine as per the state register data received from existing state medical councils.
