About CCRUM

The Central Council for Research in Unani Medicine (CCRUM) is an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Ayush, Government of India. Since its establishment in 1978, the CCRUM as the apex government organization for research in Unani Medicine has been engaged in conducting scientific research on the applied as well as fundamental aspects of Unani system of medicine. Consequently, over the past four decades of its existence, the Council has made significant strides in clinical research, drug standardization, survey and cultivation of medicinal.

The Expression of Interest (EOI) Collaborative Research Scheme is an initiative to invite research proposals from eligible institutions and investigators for collaborative research in priority areas relevant to the mandate of CCRUM.

All proposals must be submitted online through the ePMS Portal within the prescribed timeline.

Principal Investigators (PIs) from recognized universities, medical colleges and research institutions are eligible.

Yes. A proposal may include Co-Investigators (Co-PIs).

Yes. Institutional approval is mandatory before submission.

The duration depends on the nature of the study and project objectives.

Proposals Related To Unani Medicine, Pharmacology, Clinical Research, Drug Standardization and AI Applications are encouraged.
